A Platinum Jubilee Special! |
Our nightfire show is your chance to experience a spectacular unique evening. Beginning with aircraft streaming pyrotechnics from their wings, or even themselves with graceful loops and rolls!
This then leads into our choreographed hot air balloon nightglow in which you will see balloons light up like giant lightbulbs in time to music! The evening will culminate in a musical firework finale!

With main flying displays on Friday & Saturday, there is a variety of aircraft for all audiences! From helicopters, high energy aerobatics, warbirds, aerial ballet and fast jets, the Midlands Air Festival has it all!
Plus there is even our own kids display section each afternoon which includes balloon popping, flower bombing, plus more! There will even be an opportunity to meet some of our display pilots who will land right in front of you!

Over 100 balloons will grace the skies above Ragley Hall giving a fabulous kaleidoscope of colour. It really is a magical sight and well worth getting up early for, for a whole day of entertainment!
There will also be some fantastic special shapes which in previous years have included Rupert Bear, Peg Leg Pete and even Bertie Bassett! Balloons will be on display at various times during the day before taking to the skies at either end of the day!

We are delighted to be back in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Ragley Hall Estate and our sincere thanks are extended to The Most Honourable Henry Seymour the 9th Marques of Hertford and family for making this possible.
Ragley Hall itself was built as a private residence around 1780 but saw service in WW2 as a military hospital. After the war it was slowly restored and reopened again in 1958. This magnificent Palladian style house was designed by Robert Hooke, a contemporary of Sir Christopher Wren and remains the only one of the houses he created still standing today.
